Hey, you're right - this site totally blew my mind!

I am reading the interview right now w/ that Neruda guy
and its explosive stuff
all right. I love it!
Thanks for hooking me up!
There is of course a lot of fluffy,
nauseating new-age nonsense (floating around on the web)
connected with this kind of
thing, I noticed as I looked at some of the other hits
the "wingmaker" entry
revealed, but the "hard-core"-information and its subtext,
context and super-text,
is very interesting, especially concerning secret
government agencies;
this mysterious genius called "Fifteen" (the "CEO of
the planet"???);
the Central Race; Blank Slate Technology;
prophesies contained in secret text

It is of course impossible to judge the info
given by Neruda and the mysterious
"James" (it appears as borderline "X-file-hoax"),
but the somber tone of Neruda
in the interview speaks to "plots" advantage.
I would not give my whole life
to it though. A critical mind is important to me,
but at the same time...
what if it is TRUE!!! It is tickling the imagination!
On a more critical level I have
to say that it probably is part of what I would call
a fragment of the new
"21 st Century Mythology" the the media-age is
constituting, that it is
the result of the overflowing into the detached,
impoverished sub-layers
(by all the beaming TV's, films, videos etc,
commercial stuff unconsciously
assimilated over the last 50-60 years by
alienated "lost" fragmented minds
(or by the "public imagination")static-imaginary
(the spectacular, passive
fantasy-mode of mind) in need of special "magical"
meaning in their empty
lives patterned by the monotony of the capitalist
economy), but again -
WHAT IF IT IS TRUE?
And maybe it is unnecessary to be overly sensitive
if the content is radical
enough and help the advancement of understanding.
But it is on the same level
as Icke and others who proselytize on the impoverished
state of peoples
subjective consciousness, and spread lies and hoaxes,
instead of trying
to address the REAL PROBLEMS facing the world today.
Thus this often leads
to escapism and private fantasies which in them self
can be "poetic" but which
most often only propagate the status-quo and rather
than liberate turn people
away from the urgent issues that desperately need our
attention. I mean, if
you focus your mind on the Wingmaker-story you will
have endowed the world
with so much meaning that "one day will come true",
all we have to do is
meditate and wait, focus on love and everything will
be fine - a subjective
defense-mechanism certainly, in a world devoid of
"spiritual" meaning! It is
almost as if now, today when the myriad of problems
facing humanity are so
staggering, and the distance to any viable hope of
solving them is so great,
individuals in despair and hopelessness turn
completely away from material
reality to find comfort and safety in elaborate
"castles in the sky" that at
least fill them with a sense of meaning...
(Let us not underestimate
"the death of god"-thesis in the fabric of human life:
it means that the
old mythical structures that for previous generations
generated the fertile
ground for their most metaphysical of beliefs is gone...)
- Anyway, I do see
the value of this when it comes to the active imagination,
like for a writer (your friend) or for a speculative
'pataphysician
(like myself).
